My designs are abstract to a certain degree with an existing order of texture, color and geometry. The entire surface contains rectangular areas. Each with an interesting focal point. The dividing spaces lead the eye around each area and through it’s entirety. In many of my pieces, the use of mirrors have acted as focal points and utilitarian in many cases… Last year, I started exploring and creating stark white painted wood pieces. These are made with driftwood branches and twigs - arrange to have the sculptural effect of a heavily snowed forest. They were very well received especially by those interested in decorating interiors.
